Program Evaluation

STEM Consulting Services designs and implements program evaluation using various models and methods that reflect best-practice and are aligned to the client's needs. SCS has completed evaluations that range from a small scale single-day activity evaluation to a longitudinal, nationally scoped, Congressional Report-level evaluation. STEM Lab Design

STEM Consulting Services has worked with independent and public schools to design and build custom STEM labs for PK-12 students. These builds can be as small as a single space within a classroom or library to new building construction. We offer services up to and including 'turn-key' delivery. This can include equipment, safety consulting, remodeling/construction, curricula, professional development, hiring, overall project management, revenue generation, etc.

Curriculum Development and Professional Development

STEM Consulting Services has designed and implemented both curriculum and professional development on a range of topics with diverse stakeholders. Clients have worked in grades PK-Post-Secondary, as well as informal settings, and we have been funded through mechanisms ranging from federal grants to individual schools. While we often ground our curriculum and professional development in STEM content, we have capacity to address a broad range of teaching and learning foci - for example, literacy, special education, social studies, assessment, etc.

Project Management

Due to the number of large-scale efforts STEM Consulting Services has successfully completed, we have generated through hiring and professional growth the capacity to provide project management services at a national scope. These services build from a foundation of regular communication based on the client's needs. We have decades of experience in working with people, addressing challenges, and capitalizing on opportunities. We know how to take care of it, while keeping you informed at the level you desire.

Summer Camps

STEM Consulting Services has designed and executed STEM-focused summer camps for students of all ages. For example, students have engaged in designing, fabricating, and racing RC cars. Content included civil engineering (track construction), mechatronics, use of CAD and 3D printers, and marketing. We have camps that focus on medicine, inventing/innovation/design thinking, marine science, environmental science, global environmental monitoring, literacy, fly tying, and many more. We always tailor the camps for the needs of the client.

STEM Consulting Services consists of people who have decades of experience writing, implementing, and even administering grants at the federal, state, and foundation levels. Whether you are a university administrator looking to help your faculty be more successful at securing external funding for research and service, an informal institution looking for grant writing support, or a school-system who wants their teachers to be able to bring in funds to help get library books and classroom supplies - we have you covered.
